Unwell Kids Use Google Glass to Virtually Visit the Zoo

Youngsters' Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston as of late provided for some ailing children, who are unable to leave the healing facility, the chance to for all intents and purpose "visit" the Houston Zoo with Google Glass.
The project is the first of its benevolent in the United States. Youngsters wear Google Glass and partake in a "twofold Glass Hangout" with zoo workers.

"It gave my child an opportunity to feel like he was an ordinary child," said the mother of a 6-year-old kid with diabetes who was one of the first kids to take an interest in the project. "He could see the zoo — what's a more excellent thing than that?"

The Houston Zoo joined the Google Glass Explorer program the previous summer.
